This week, just answer the questions in this prospectus on your blog in preparation for Shark Tank next week!
1. Mad Lib: “I am developing (project) to help (target audience) solve the problem of (probletunity) by (secret sauce).” Write your Mad Lib here. 2. Project title: Create a working title for your project. It’s a way for you to refer to it when talking with peers, experts, classmates, teachers, and the general public. |
3. Detailed account of the need (this could come straight from blog #1 posted on 1/20): Write a one or two paragraph description of the problem to be addressed by your Probletunity Project. Be sure to explore the history of the issue, expanding on why the need gap exists today and what has been done (if anything) in the past to eliminate it. This will answer the question, “What is the problem you’ll address, and why is it a problem?” |
5. Detailed sketch of the proposed solution: Write a one or two paragraph description of your proposed solution. It should clearly identify how you used your resources and research to go about addressing the need established above. This should answer the question, “What are you going to do about it?”
6. Materials: Make a list of anything you’ll need to accomplish your project once you get to the implementation stage and how you’ll go about getting those items. This could include computer time, multimedia equipment, pencil and paper, etc. Try to think outside the obvious here.
