Okay, Royals, it's time to look in the mirror! This Genius Hour Probletunity Project journey started back in August with us building Play-Doh molds of something that represented who we are. Then we carved out Mondays for GPM discussions where you brought topics to the table for conversation among your classmates. Remember the rhetorical battles and differences of opinion?! Those were good times.
In January you started off my answering the question "What lights me on fire?" Then you commented on your classmates' ideas. We posted the flames around the outside of the classroom... when was the last time you stopped to take a look at them?
Soon after that you identified a probletunity--a problem turned into an opportunity--to pursue for the year. Do you remember what it was? How has it evolved since then? What did your research reveal about that issue?
In March you pitched your solution ideas to a panel of professional adult community members. Then you set SMART goals for the implementation of your solution. Since then you've been working to accomplish said goals.
Finally you thought big and deep and existential to develop an "idea worth spreading" to incorporate into a TED-style talk as part of your final exam. What a journey it has been!
This last post is a reflection of your journey. It should be a couple paragraphs long, covering these questions:

This last post is a reflection of your journey. It should be a couple paragraphs long, covering these questions:
- What was hard about this year in English 11?
- What did you appreciate about the class?
- If you could do it all over again, what would you change?
- How have you grown since August?
- In what ways did you challenge your mind and/or get outside your comfort zone?
- What's been your biggest challenge in your own War Against Mediocrity?
- What's next for you in terms of following your heart and leading a life on fire?
